1. Side Wall Cargo Semi Trailer
Side wall semi trailer has a wide range of uses, mainly suitable for long distance transportation of medium-heavy and bulk cargo. It has strong applicability and become the first choice for long distance freight vehicles.
The vehicle body is made of high quality steel, advanced technology, and strict production. As the main means of transportation, the vehicle has many advantages: reasonable structure, reliable performance, convenient operation and beautiful appearance.
The frame of the series semi trailer is a beam-through structure, and the longitudinal beam is straight or gooseneck. The height of the web is from 400mm to 550mm, and it is welded with manganese plate. The longitudinal beam is welded by automatic submerged welding, and the frame is shot peened.
Finally, the cross beam penetrates into the longitudinal beam and is welded as a whole. The suspension adopts non-independent steel plate stamping rigid suspension, which is composed of tandem leaf spring and suspension support. The advantage of this design is that the structure is reasonable, with strong rigidity and strength, which is more conducive to supporting the load and reducing the impact.
2. Flatbed Semi Trailer
Flatbed semi trailer is a special transport trailer for carrying containers.
Mainly used in logistics systems supporting ships, ports, routes, highways, transfer stations, bridges, tunnels, and multimodal transport. Because it is specially used for the transportation of various containers, the product can be used repeatedly for a long time and has sufficient strength.
In addition, the use of containers to transfer goods can be directly loaded in the consignor’s warehouse, and transported to the consignee’s warehouse for unloading. When changing vehicles or ships on the way, there is no need to remove the goods from the box for reloading. It can be quickly loaded and unloaded when the goods are handed over at the destination, and can be directly and conveniently changed from one means of transport to another.
The size of the loading part of the container trailer is determined according to the size of the standard container(mainly include 20ft and 40ft containers), and a twist-lock device for fixing the container is provided at the position corresponding to the four corners of the bottom of the container.
Trailers specially used for transporting containers can be divided into two types: flatbed and skeleton semi trailer. The flatbed semi trailer has a flat platform, and can also be used to transport ordinary long term goods. The skeleton trailer has no cargo platform. The container is mounted on the chassis frame, and is fixed by the twist lock device to become the strength member of the semi trailer.
3. Skeleton Semi Trailer
Skeleton semi trailer is another type of vehicle specialized for transporting containers. It is mainly welded by main beam side beams and transom. The main beam is made of high-quality steel plate 16Mn submerged arc welded into an I-shape, and the side beam is stamped into a groove shape with high-quality steel plate, which greatly increases the bearing capacity of the product. And the frame of the skeleton car is all shot peened, and the whole frame is assembled and welded on a special positioning bench. Because of its sophisticated design technology, the product has a reasonable structure, high strength and beautiful appearance.
A container turn lock is set on the frame, which can load two standard containers of 40 FT and 20 FT. The four twist lock devices at the front and rear are fixed structures, and the twist lock of the middle container is a hideable structure.
Also as a model for professional transportation of containers, the difference between flatbed semi trailer and skeleton semi tariler is that the flatbed type adds a frame and a checker plate. This design makes it also useful for the transport of other materials or products.
